Masjid Mataram Kota Gede

Gedhe Mataram Mosque is one of the 18 Strategic Space Unit Areas in Yogyakarta. The mosque is located in Sayangan Hamlet, Jagalan Village, Banguntapan District, Bantul Regency. The mosque is almost 4.5 centuries old and is near the tomb complex of the founder of the Islamic Mataram Kingdom and his family as well as Sendang Seliran bathhouse.

Through Scan to BIM, the GeoBIM Indonesia Team succeeded in modeling the entire Mosque and Tomb of the King of Mataram area completely, starting from the main building, heritage objects, secondary buildings, roads, to complementary facilities in the area. The main building at the Gedhe Mataram Mosque is modeled in LOD 300 - 350, while the secondary buildings (residential), as well as roads and supporting facilities are modeled in LOD 200. The complete and informative model of the Gedhe Mataram Mosque Area as part of the Strategic Space Unit, is very useful as a basis for regional development planning in the city of Yogyakarta.
